Situation:
It was needed to simplify procurement procedures for small and medium-sized businesses in Georgia and several nearby markets. It was required to develop E-commerce platform for conducting B2B purchases on the basis of a reverse auction. The customer did not have competencies in high-load development, so it was decided to outsource the project development.

A series of interviews with the company's stakeholders was carried out, a product concept was written and agreed upon. The project team was formed, the design and the first version (MVP) of the product were developed.

After testing by the customer and conducted focus groups on customer experience research, a task was formed to refine the product, including design. Integrations with local payment and banking gateways have been made, the interface has been translated into Georgian and English.

After changing the commercial strategy, the product moved from the LAMP stack to the Ruby stack. Geo-replicated stable platform was created using Docker technology.
Result:
We have developed an E-commerce platform for conducting B2B purchases on the basis of a reverse auction.
Platform was successfully launched with support for 3 languages in less than 10 months from the ground up.
The project was successfully finalized under a support contract, without a single incident, with a high degree of platform availability.
